During the event “Habiter la Ville de Demain” (Living in the City of the Future) on 5 & 6 February, organised by the French Ministry for Ecological Transition and Solidarity and the French Ministry of Territorial Cohesion and Relations with Local and Regional Authorities, the Athletes’ Village and the Media Cluster received recognition as “EcoQuartier – Étape 1” (Eco-neighbourhood – Stage 1). A matter of great pride for the SOLIDEO teams!

The “EcoQuartier” recognition is a process that will follow the life cycle of the two projects, from their launch to the reception of the new inhabitants! Thus, at each stage, the Villages will be assessed by the French Ministry of Territorial Cohesion and Relations with Local and Regional Authorities with the goal of serving as models for the whole area and demonstrating “low carbon” strategy for the whole of Île-de-France.
