La Grande Nef, a building included in the complementary inventory of historical monuments, is a multi-purpose hall that hosted various sports and cultural activities.

Located in the far south of L’Île-Saint-Denis, the L’Île des Vannes sports centre is currently closed and must be renovated.

This sports centre and, more particularly, La Grande Nef, along with the athletics track will be training sites for the Olympic and Paralympic Games. These facilities, owned by the town of Saint-Ouen-sur-Seine, will host respectively the boxing, la boccia, the athletics and the para athletics events.

SOLIDEO will carry out a renovation programme to host the Games and then to reopen doors for local sports practice: restoring current facilities and bringing them up to standard, especially in the area of accessibility, as well as the installation of a new floor.
